Clear Guide Medical Nominated for the National Council of Entrepreneurial Tech Transfer's University Startups Showcase

The National Council of Entrepreneurial Tech Transfer (NCET2) announced that Clear Guide Medical has been nominated by Johns Hopkins University for the University Startups Showcase.   In the next month NCET2 will pare the list down to the top 100 companies to present in the Virtual Showcases in 2012.  Each Virtual Showcase will consist of a 2-hour online webinar with 10 companies, each given:

• 5 minute company slide presentation by the CEO or a Senior Executive;

• 2 minute Question and Answer session; and

• 3 minutes of scoring by volunteers from Global 1000 companies, angels, SBIR program managers and VC firms.

About Clear Guide Medical

Clear Guide Medical, a spinout of Johns Hopkins University, provides innovative advanced image-guidance for needle-based interventions and diagnostics.  The company was a finalist in Maryland's 2012 Innovation, Corporate Excellence and Entrepreneurship (ICE) Awards, and is currently working on FDA clearance for its first generation device to be used with ultrasound-based interventions.  The company has received over $700,000 in grants and awards, and is currently seeking early stage private investment.
